Create PT has partnered with Boipe to provide a completely online nationally recognised Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification.
This course takes approximately 6 hours to complete and combines online learning with a live Zoom session. It meets HSE guidelines, equipping you with the essential skills and confidence to handle workplace emergencies effectively.

1. Pick a date
Scroll down to see available dates for your Live Session. This is carried out via Zoom and will be around 3 hours in duration.

2. Sign up
Enter your voucher code to get free access.

3. Complete the first module
Complete the online learning module. This should take between 3-4 hours, but it can be broken down into multiple shorter learning sessions and completed at your convenience.
You will be assessed at the Live Session and without completing the online learning, this will be difficult to pass.

4. Live session
Join your live session with fellow
students led by one of our experienced instructors. This will be an opportunity to get any
questions answered from the online element.
There will be an assessment.
You will be expected to have space around you to demonstrate skills and bring with you either an empty 2 litre plastic bottle or 2 x toilet rolls to demonstrate CPR.

5. Get your certificate
Once you've completed your online
course, attended the live session and passed the assessment you will be qualified and can access your Emergency
First Aid at Work certificate.

How do I join a course?
Click on sign up/sign in button, pick a convenient live session date, then complete the registration process. You will get access to the online
learning and be sent joining instructions for the virtual classroom.
Do I have to complete the online learning before the live session?
No, but it would be preferable so you can ask any questions arising from the online learning. These can be discussed with our instructor live at the live session.
What technology do I need?
Any device that is capable of recording video while being
connected to the internet. The online
learning can be accessed via phone, tablet or laptop/desktop. To pass the live session you
need to be able to join via Zoom and be live on video and microphone.
What
happens if I don’t want to complete the course, miss the live session date
or fail the course?
You can cancel at any point right up until the point of passing, for any reason and will receive a full refund.
How long will the course take?
It can be very quick – for example you could book today for a
live session this evening and complete the online learning either before or
just after the live session. Once you pass the assessments you will get access to your certificate.
Is this course suitable for me?
This can only be a decision for you. The Health and Safety Executive have provided
two documents to help you decide what type of course you need and how to choose
a suitable provider [L74 and GEIS3]. We are confident that we meet all the guidelines, especially the supplier checklist in GEIS3, but you need to make your own decision.
When do I get my certificate?
Once you have passed the online training, attended the
live session and passsed the practical assessment you will have passed the
course and your certificate will appear in your online profile. From your account you can print or email your
certificate as needed.
